Consultation is by appointment. Please ring 07 46711430 during clinic hours for an appointment or send an email to mail@cressyclinic.com.au with your contact details and requirements.
If you have a complex medical problem or more than one medical issue to address, please tell the receptionist when you book so that extra time can be booked!
Urgent medical problems will always be dealt with promptly.
HOME VISITS
In situations of clinical need, if patients are too sick to come to the clinic, home visits and hospital visits can be organised, usually before or after regular clinic hours.
AFTER-HOURS
For urgent after hours medical care please ring the clinic number 46711430. You will usually be directed to call 190 222 6139 for direct access to Dr. Sheppard, or otherwise to the Goondiwindi Hospital on 46711233 from where your care can be co-ordinated.

OUR PRACTICE
Our practice is committed to the highest standards of clinical care and professionalism. We place a high value on really knowing our patients and on having mature and experienced staff available to assist you. Kellie, Janelle, Fiona and Ann Marie share the reception role. Ann Marie, Maureen and Fiona are all Registered Nurses who can provide experienced nursing assistance, advice and triage.
All patient information and medical records are strictly confidential.
Should you have any complaints, concerns or suggestions about the practice, please discuss these with Dr. Sheppard or one of the staff ...because your health matters!
TELEPHONE CALLS
Clinical calls will be triaged by the practice nurse. Emergency calls will always be put straight through to the doctor. Non urgent matters requiring the doctor’s attention will either be offered a routine appointment or will be attended to at the end of the day.
FEES
This is a private billing practice. Fees charged are in line with fees recommended by the AMA. A list of fees is available at reception.
Please bring your Medicare card with you to visits, to assist in the claims process.
You can pay by cash, cheque, EFTPOS, Visa or MasterCard.
Veterans Affairs cardholders are bulk-billed.
