Dr Peter ALEXAKIS Established the practice in 1991. Peter has completed the advanced acupuncture course of the NSW Medical Acupuncture Society and is also interested in musculo-skeletal injuries, including work-related and sports injuries. He speaks fluent Greek.
Dr Yvette HAUSER obtained a Diploma in Obstetrics in 1994 and is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. Yvette has an interest in women’s health, paediatrics and palliative care. Dr Hauser has an interest in obstetrics and share care and is a member of RANZCOG. She speaks fluent Czech.
Dr Sughandthi RAVI PRABAHAN is our female GP. She has a special interest in women’s health and preventative medicine. She is also available for obstetrics and share care program and for childhood immunisations. Sughandthi speaks fluent Tamil and Sinhalese.
Dr Joseph LEE is a GP with special interest in men’s health, geriatric medicine with multiple medical conditions. He is also interested in palliative care. Joseph is available on Wednesdays and Fridays.
Dr Vudayagiri NAGAMMA has been a GP for over 30 years and has experience and interests in all health from pediatric to geriatric medicines. She has been involved in community activities and is currently chair person for continuing medical education for Australian Indian Medical Graduates Association . Dr Nagamma speaks Telugu and Kannada.
Dr Andy Hsu has joined our practice and is our GP Registrar. Andy has interests in all health care including preventative health and paediatric care. He will be available from Mondays to Thursdays. Andy also speaks Mandarin.
PRACTICE NURSE – Paula is our registered nurse. She will be available to assist our doctors in Care Plans, Preventive Health, Immunisations, Recall and Reminder Program, assist in minor procedures and wound care and assist all our patients in their care at the practice. Arpee speaks Tagalog.
The surgery is open:
Monday to Friday 8 am – 6 pm
Saturday 8 am – 2 pm
FEES
All patients with a current Medicare card are Bulk Billed
HOME VISITS
This practice provides home visits for patients through Sydney Medical Services. If you need of a home visit, please contact the surgery as soon as possible after 8 am for further information.
APPOINTMENTS
Appointments are preferable. Patients attending without a booking will be fitted in at the earliest available time. Please ring 9744 7522 for an appointment. If you require a long consultation, please advise the receptionist when making the appointment so that a longer time can be arranged.
Emergencies will always be given priority simply notify the receptionist.
AFTER-HOURS
When the surgery is closed, please ring our after-hours service on 8724 6300 and a doctor will visit you at home. Other numbers that you may find useful include:

OUR PRACTICE
The surgery is located in the main shopping street of Strathfield, The Boulevarde, directly opposite the main entrance to Strathfield Plaza. We are close to Strathfield Railway Station and bus routes.
SCRIPTS AND REFERRALS
To ensure the best management of your care, we like to discus your condition before writing scripts or referring you to a specialist. Please note that we are not permitted by law to back-date specialist referrals, so please ensure that you have a current referral before you see the specialist. Appointments can be made for renewal of scripts and referrals.
