Ayr Medical Group has consultation rooms available for any enthusiastic GP’s wishing to move to Sunny North Queensland.

Our surgery is a purpose built building which houses 9 consulting rooms, onsite pharmacy, xray and ct scan facility and a pathology collection centre. Ayr Medical Group is an accredited general practice located in the town of Ayr in North Queensland.

Ayr is the largest of the communities situated in the Burdekin River Delta. It is a rural community on the Bruce Highway approximately 90km south of Townsville. Airlie Beach and the Whitsundays are 2 hours drive to the south. Our population is approximately 19,000 and is supported primarily by the sugar and vegetable growing, agriculture and grazing industries.

Fishing is possibly the single most popular pastime in Ayr. Ayr is a sporting Mecca – you name it, we play it. There are a number of choices for schooling in both private and public schools. James Cook University is located in Townsville.
