If you need more time with the doctor, please tell the receptionist when you make your booking. Urgent medical problems will always be dealt with promptly. An interpreter may be arranged with prior notice.

Home visits are available if you are too sick to come to the surgery. Please ring prior to lunch if you require a home visit.

OUR PRACTICE
A health assessment service for eligible patients is available. We also provide diabetes and asthma management clinics. To attend these clinics or be enrolled in our reminder system, please contact the practice nurse, Tommy Senden.

RESULTS
Patients should call the practice a minimum of 3 business days after the tests have been taken. Patients are encouraged to make a follow-up appointment. For significant test results, the practice will contact you directly within 3 business days of receiving the result. Patients can contact the practice between 3.30pm & 4.30pm each week day to discuss test results with a Practice Nurse.

CONFIDENTIALITY
All patient details and medical records are strictly confidential. The practice follows the 10 National Privacy Principles, patients can request access to a copy of their records or a copy to be transferred to another provider. For further information speak to the receptionist or your GP.

FEES
Patients 17 and under, Concession card and DVA Gold cardholders – all consultations are BULK BILLED.

All other patients – A $43.00 gap fee applies to all consultation items.
Medical procedures attract a procedure room gap fee of $48.00.

Repeat scripts or referrals may be completed without an appointment upon request. A fee applies to all patients irrespective of concession card status for this service – $16.00 for script issue and $22.00 for a referral letter without a consultation with your usual GP. Scripts and Referrals will only be issued subject to consent by the patient’s usual Doctor.

Please note that some consultations and vaccinations such as pre-employment medicals and travel vaccines are not covered by Medicare. Ask our receptionist for further information or for a price list.
