Doctor will attend the clinic for emergencies only:

FEES
The Hamilton Medical Group is a private medical practice. Fees are applicable for all services and full payment on the day is required.  A standard consultation is $96.20. The Medicare rebate for a standard consultation is $41.20. A fee will be charged for non attendance or cancelling an appointment within an hour of the appointment (if the appointment cannot be filled). A full list of fees is available on request from the Accounts Department.

Fees are payable by cash, cheque, MasterCard, Visa, EFTPOS and direct deposit.  All patients will be sent an SMS requesting their credit/debit card details to confirm their appointment.  Your card will only be charged if you fail to stop at the Accounts Department after your appointment.  The financial organisation that HotDoc partners with and trust to verify and store your card details is called Stripe. They are accredited by the Payment Card Industry – Data Security Standards (PCI-DSS) and are level 1 certified.  Neither the Practice, nor HotDoc are privy to your credit/debit card details.

If you have any difficulty paying your account at any time, please do not hesitate to discuss this matter with Accounts Department or the Practice Manager.

RESULTS
Patients are reminded that it is their responsibility to follow up test results. If you require results over the telephone you must phone in person, unless you have authorised another person to phone on your behalf (the clinic must have a signed authority).

TELEPHONE CALLS
Calls to your doctor will be returned as soon as possible, usually at the end of the consulting session.

PRIVACY
Our practice privacy policy explains how we manage your health information. Your medical record is a confidential document. This policy is displayed at Front Reception. A copy can be obtained from the Practice Manager.

HOW TO PROVIDE FEEDBACK
Feedback or comments regarding the practice can be passed on to your doctor, Practice Manager or placed in our suggestion box at Front Reception.

To make a formal complaint firstly discuss your concerns with your doctor or the Practice Manager. If you are still not happy contact the Health Complaints Commissioner on 1300 582 113.
