Jessica Nguyen

Jessica Nguyen is a fully registered psychologist and obtained her Professional Doctorate in Psychology (Clinical) at the Queensland University of Technology. She has gained experience through her training at QUT, Redcliffe Hospital, the Queensland Police Service, Private Practice and through a Long-Term Psychodynamic Therapy placement. She has also worked at various Correctional Facilities conducting Drug and Alcohol Workshops, has been part of developing Well-Being Resources for the Queensland Law Society and tutors in the area of Individual Differences and Assessment.

Ms Fabienne Green
Psychologist – Mondays, Tuesdays and Sunday fortnightly

Fabienne is a registered psychologist with over 15 years experience in the public and private sector.  She has a broad knowledge of counselling with different age groups, from adolescents through to the elder community.  Over her many years of experience Fabienne has developed an understanding of the particular needs and experiences of individuals who identify as Indigenous, Differently Abled, LGBTIQQP and those from Non English Speaking Background.  Fabienne is skilled in a variety of therapies including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), as well as evidence based Relationship Counselling models.  She has an interest in working with all couples experiencing challenges and feels that every relationship at every stage can benefit from counselling. Fabienne has a particular interest in the early intervention of Post Natal Depression and has completed the NonDirective Pregnancy Counselling Training.  She favours a flexible approach to counselling, with the belief that every individual is the expert of their own experience.

 

Dadirai Gara
Psychologist -Saturday weekly

Dadirai  is a Registered Psychologist with 10 years of experience. Dadirai is currently completing her Doctor of Psychology (Clinical & Clinical Geropsychology). Dadirai has a passion for working with people, with the aim of improving their emotional, psychological and social well-being. Apart from her private practice, She also works as a psychologist in an acute in-patient mental health facility.

Dadirai has a keen interest in providing psychotherapy to people with severe mental health conditions and disabilities. Dadirai’s areas  of interest include mood disorders, anxiety disorders, psychotic illnesses, personality disorders, eating disorders, relationship counselling, grief & loss, and workplace issues.

Bonda is a fully registered Psychologist who started her career path in London (UK) and completed further training in Brisbane (QLD) with a Master degree in Professional Psychology. She has worked with children/youth, adults and older adults, and has experience in helping people with concerns around mood disorders, depression, anxiety, trauma, substance use, grief and loss, family issues, work related stress and general wellbeing. Bonda also provide non-judgemental support and un-biased options/information resources with concerns related to a current or recent pregnancy (within the past 12 months), and whether it has been full-term or part-term (including a planned termination). These include decisions about the future, adjustment following the pregnancy, or general issues related to a pregnancy. Partners can also attend the counselling session, if appropriate.

Bonda has a varied and extensive experience in the private, community, health government and higher education sectors. She adopts a collaborative, tailored and empowering approach to therapy, where she assists individuals in the belief that everyone can aspire towards the beauty of their dreams. She adopts evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), Schema Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and Solution-Focused Therapy.

Bonda has a warm, welcoming and kind approach with a driven passion to help individuals achieve their highest potential. Trilingual (French, Italian and English) and from a multicultural background, she has a deep understanding of diversity as she has travelled and lived in various countries around the world.

 

Mr Sirous Momenzadeh, PhD.

Psychologist – Tuesday and Wednesday evenings and fortnightly Saturdays

Sirous also completed a PhD at the University of Queensland in 2000 and started working as a psychologist in 2005. Sirous works at both public and private sector. He utilises a broad range of evidence based psychological interventions including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and the new cutting edge therapy called ‘Acceptance & Commitment Therapy or ACT’. These interventions are proven to be effective for clients experiencing depression, anxiety, anger, chronic pain, eating disorders, trauma, obsessive compulsive disorders, and even relationship and work related issues.  Sirous is also interested in assessing and helping the individuals with ADHD or Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

He is committed in helping people improve their quality of life and moving them towards their chosen values. Living a meaningful life is filled with making difficult choices and coping with challenging thoughts and emotions. Sirous is an advanced ACT (Acceptance & Commitment Therapy) therapist and is currently the Chair for the Persian ACT community. He is an accredited supervisor and provides supervision to other psychologists. He has extensive work experience in working with individuals, couples, adolescents, and families.

Sirous was born and grew up in Iran and moved to Australia in 1991 and can speak Persian (Farsi). Outside of work Sirous enjoys spending time with his family, watching motor racing (F1 & V8) and soccer, documentaries, walking his dog and being in nature.

Mohammad K. Khayrolomoor

Clinical Psychologist – Sunday weekly

Mohammad is a clinical psychologist with more than 30 years clinical experience, working in a number of different mental health services in New Zealand and Australis. He completed the Master’s of Science degree in Applied Clinical Psychology at University of Baltimore, U.S.A and worked as a clinical psychologist in New Zealand for 10 years before migrating to Australia in 1998. Since then he has worked as senior clinical psychologist in 3 Health Service Districts of QLD health and in private practice.

Mohammad provides clinical psychology services, including assessment, treatment and counselling for adults and elderly clients and his areas of expertise include treatment of all anxiety disorders ( including generalised anxiety disorder, panic, phobic, and obsessive -compulsive disorders, and post-traumatic disorders ), all depressive and affective disorders, adjustment disorders, stress and trauma, rehabilitation and supportive therapy for psychotic illnesses, personal issues, grief counselling, and assessment and screening for dementias.

Mohammad is a full member of the Australian Psychological Society’s College of Clinical Psychologists and is a recognised Clinical Psychology Provider by Medicare, DVA, WorkCover, and most private insurance companies.

Aside from being movie’s fan and music enthusiast, Mohammad is a soccer tragic and while he always supports Aussies in all sports, when it comes to rugby union, he is as devoted All Blacks fan and has been known to perform the Hakka in a public hospital!
