Jessica Nguyen is a fully registered psychologist and is currently a Candidate for a Professional Doctorate in Psychology (Clinical). She is undertaking her degree at the Queensland University of Technology and has gained experience through her training at QUT, Redcliffe Hospital, the Queensland Police Service, Private Practice and through a Long-Term Psychodynamic Therapy placement. She has also worked at various Correctional Facilities conducting Drug and Alcohol Workshops, has been part of developing Well-Being Resources for the Queensland Law Society and has tutored in the area of Individual Differences and Assessment.

Jessica has special interests in Stress, Anxiety, Depression, Trauma, Drug and Alcohol Related Difficulties and Personality Vulnerabilities. She advocates for an integrative approach to therapy, incorporating Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Strengths-based Models, Acceptance Commitment Therapy and she has a special interest in Ecotherapy and Psychodynamic Psychotherapy. Her research explored Guided Imagery of Nature as an Intervention for Anxiety and her thesis papers have been submitted for review. Jessica will commence the Psychology Board of Australia’s Clinical Registrar Program in the second half of 2017.


Ms Fabienne Green
Psychologist – Mondays and Sunday fortnightly

Private fees apply for Relationship counselling and NonDirective Pregnancy counselling.

Fabienne is a registered psychologist with over 15 years experience in the public and private sector.  She has a broad knowledge of counselling with different age groups, from adolescents through to the elder community.  Over her many years of experience Fabienne has developed an understanding of the particular needs and experiences of individuals who identify as Indigenous, Differently Abled, LGBTIQQP and those from Non English Speaking Background.  Fabienne is skilled in a variety of therapies including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), as well as evidence based Relationship Counselling models.  She has an interest in working with all couples experiencing challenges and feels that every relationship at every stage can benefit from counselling. Fabienne has a particular interest in the early intervention of Post Natal Depression and has completed the NonDirective Pregnancy Counselling Training.  She favours a flexible approach to counselling, with the belief that every individual is the expert of their own experience.


Dadirai Gara
Psychologist -Saturday weekly

Dadirai is a psychologist, and has a passion in working with people with the aim of improving their lifestyle and well-being. She has worked in the community in case management roles, disabilities and with the aged population suffering dementia and Alzheimer’s disease in Perth, Western Australia. Dadirai has also worked in private practice in Hervey Bay and with Community Health in Kingaroy. In addition to private practice, Dadirai currently works as a psychologist for Queensland Health where she works in an acute in-patient facility.

Her areas of interest are mood disorders, anxiety, behaviour management, relationship counselling, workplace issues, cognitive functioning, parenting and stress.  Dadirai also conducts group sessions, prepares and delivers training packages and conducts neuropsychological assessments. Her preferred therapies are Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Interpersonal therapy and Narrative therapy.

Dadirai enjoys watching peoples’ lives changing for the better through the therapy she provides, with the engagement of the client. She believes that one needs balance in their life in order for them to live life to its fullest. She is registered with the Psychologists Board of Australia.  She is married and lives locally with her husband and their daughter.
