Dr Robin Kaye

BSc (Hons), MBBS, FRACGP

Private Billing – Bulk Bills Pension/HCC/DVA card holders & Children under 16 years.

Special Interest:

I am interested in general medical issues across all ages – everyone deserves a great GP!  I am also experienced with chronic disease management (things like diabetes, asthma, heart disease and obesity), mental health, sexual health and
palliative care.  I enjoy skin medicine and minor surgeries.  I am also committed to providing great care for our LGBTQI patients.

I am a mixed billing doctor.  This means I bulk bill all pensioners, health care card holders, and children under 16.  For all other patients I charge a gap fee.  I have the option of reducing the gap fee to a discount rate in cases of financial hardship.  I have chosen to be a mixed billing doctor because I work best when I can spend more time with patients, and mixed billing allows for this.  I allow 20 minutes for each appointment, though you can book longer (or shorter) appointments.  I am also passionate about continuity of care and want to see patients and families over many years to come.

I grew up in the nearby suburb of Corinda, and have returned to Brisbane after completing my General Practice training on the Sunshine Coast.  The beach was nice, but it’s great to be home.

What is a Registrar?

A GP Registrar is a fully qualified medical doctor, undertaking advanced training to specialise in General Practice. The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and Australia College of Rural and Remote Medicine requires General Practitioners to complete an advanced GP training program. Over at least two years, GP Registrars will attend placements at up to four different medical practices.
Here at Priority Health Medical Centre they receive a great opportunity to work in a highly functioning and supportive environment that focuses on family medicine and community health.  Being qualified medical doctors, GP Registrars are knowledgeable and skilled.  At times they may ask our Accredited Supervisors or Senior General Practitioners to assist them in your consultation for their expertise and advice in your health care.

Where is my Registrar?

After 12 months, Registrars may move onto their next placement.  Once they complete their final General Practice training requirements, they may return to us here at Priority Health Medical Centre.

We have welcomed and farewelled many brilliant and caring doctors over the years.
